We finished the first day with all 4 cases done as planned.  The last case was delayed by the one pan of instruments that had to be sterilized and clinic went until 6:30 (shades of my Thursdays in Nashville), but everyone was back poolside by 7pm. Things at the hospital have continued to improve. The Mexico nurses have been great, responding to the information and training from previous trips. Today the cases were completed on time and without incident. The Number of implants have declined so our size choices have become very limited. The number of cases will be limited by the remaining sizes. So far so good, with the exception of the limitation in supplies due to the customs issue, this has been the smoothest trip to date.
